John Haring

Biography

John Haring was a community member whose life spanned the Revolutionary era and the early decades of American independence. He was part of the Tappan community and maintained connections to the area throughout his life.

Haring was buried in Tappan Cemetery, where his memory is preserved. His seventy years of life witnessed the transformation of the American colonies into an independent nation and the establishment of the early republic.
