John Hodgson (1779–1845) was an English antiquarian scholar whose intellectual pursuits contributed to the growing field of historical and archaeological study during the Romantic era. Based in Hartburn, he devoted himself to the investigation and documentation of historical artifacts and local heritage, reflecting the 19th-century passion for antiquarian research.
