Biography
John Home attained fame for his drama "Douglas" and other writings that drew on Scottish history, and he blended his literary ambitions with a pastoral devotion to the church.
In later life he pursued scholarship and quiet reflection, sustaining friendships across the literary world, and he now rests at South Leith Parish Church.
