John I. Rinaker

Biography

John I. Rinaker (1830-1915) answered the call of duty during the Civil War as an officer in the Union Army and continued to serve the public in the decades that followed.

He represented Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives and remained a voice of integrity, advocating for veterans and civic progress throughout his life.
