John James McCook

Biography

John James McCook (1845–1911) embodied the courage of the younger McCook generation, answering the call to serve in the Union Army and later building a respected career in the legal profession. His leadership on the battlefield and in the courtroom reflected the same steady commitment to duty inspired by the ideals of his family.
