John Johnson

Biography

John Johnson, born in 1833 and laid to rest in 1892, was a member of the York Center community for much of his life. Though the particulars of his daily work remain unrecorded, those who knew him recall a steady presence among neighbors and family.

He is remembered with gratitude for the quiet support he offered, a patient witness to the growth of York Center through the turbulent nineteenth century, now honored at York Center Cemetery.
