John Leland

Biography

John Leland was born in 1754 and belonged to the generation that shaped the early life of the Cheshire area and its cemetery.

While the specifics of his work are lost to time, he went to his rest at Cheshire Cemetery in 1841, and the community still honors the contributions of those whose stories are preserved there.
