Biography
John Moore-Brabazon, 1st Baron Brabazon of Tara, was one of Britain’s earliest aviators, the first to carry a passenger under power in this country and a pioneer in demonstrating the potential of aircraft for communication and mail.
In later years his experience guided him through wartime ministries and into the House of Lords, and he remained a steadfast advocate for civil aviation, resting now in the peace of Stoke Poges Memorial Gardens.
