Biography

Born in 1908, John Newbold Camp began his career as an attorney after law school and served in Oklahoma's legislature before being elected to represent the state's 6th District in the U.S. House from 1969 to 1975. In Congress he focused on infrastructure, farm policy, and bringing practical solutions to rural communities.

After returning home, he continued to practice law and remained an active participant in civic organizations, offering mentorship to younger leaders while staying close to the farming roots that shaped his perspective.
