John Norton Pomeroy

Biography

John Norton Pomeroy devoted his life to the study and teaching of law, writing texts and shaping curricula that trained generations of lawyers across the country. His work promoted the rule of law and inspired respect for the principles that governed public life.

Pomeroy continued to mentor students and colleagues until his passing, and his contributions are still reflected in legal studies; he was laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery.
