John Oren Reed

Biography

John Oren Reed, born in 1856, was a gifted physicist and educator whose contributions at the University of Michigan helped shape scientific instruction in the Midwest. He inspired generations of students with his passion for experimental inquiry and his patient mentorship of young scholars.
