Biography

John P. Leedom, born in 1847, lived through the Civil War era and the subsequent effort to restore stability and hope to the nation. His measured approach to life made him a trusted figure among neighbors and kin alike.

He was laid to rest in 1895 at Manchester IOOF Cemetery, honored by a community grateful for the calm wisdom he shared.
