John Parry

Biography

John Parry, born in 1789, became an early settler of the Utah Territory and contributed to the building of Salt Lake City in its formative years. His efforts in keeping community ties strong reflected the pioneering spirit of those who journeyed westward.

Parry died in 1868 and was laid to rest in Salt Lake City Cemetery. His grave marks the memory of a steadfast figure from the era of early settlement and community-building.
