John Rollins

Biography

John Rollins, born in 1750, devoted his life to the land around Danville Green, helping neighbors repair barns, settle boundary disputes, and keep the green a place for worship and civic gathering.

He never sought high office, but he was a constant presence at town meetings and in days of need, and the families who visit Danville Green Cemetery still speak of his practical wisdom.
