John S. Stoddard

Biography

John S. Stoddard was born in 1810 and came of age during the early nineteenth century. He lived through a period of American expansion and development, witnessing the nation's growth and the emergence of sectional conflicts.

Stoddard passed away in 1862, during the Civil War. He was laid to rest at Washington Street Cemetery, his life spanning a transformative period in American history.
