John Savage

Biography

John Savage was born at the close of the eighteenth century and lived through the early decades of American independence. He witnessed the nation's westward expansion and the development of new communities throughout his long life.

Savage was honored with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery, a place of rest for many of the era's respected citizens. His nearly eighty-four years of life reflected the resilience and character of his generation.
