Biography

John Thomson loved football from the moment he could lace up boots, becoming known for his nimble footwork and willingness to lift teammates during hard seasons.

When war interrupted the league, he enlisted and traded the pitch for the front lines, where he gave his life in 1944; his memory is honored at Hottot-les-Bagues war cemetery.
