Biography
John Turton gave himself to the study and practice of medicine at Brasted, offering careful diagnosis and comfort to the sick and sustaining the trust of families in hard seasons.
He is recalled for the compassion with which he met every case, and Greyfriars keeps his memory as that of a physician who took his calling to heart.
