John Verrept

Biography

John Verrept was born in 1887 and became an aircraft pilot during the pioneering days of aviation, embracing the thrill and danger of flight in service of his country.

He died in 1912 and is buried at Lier Mechelsepoort Cemetery, where the early airmen who risked everything are remembered for their courage.
