John W. Gould

Biography

John W. Gould was born in 1814 and came of age during a period of rapid change and development in America. His early years were shaped by the expanding nation and growing opportunities of the nineteenth century.

Gould passed away in 1838 at the age of 24, his life tragically brief. He was interred in East Cemetery, leaving behind memories of a young man taken too soon from his family and community.
