Biography
Johnny Boyd built a reputation as a daring race car driver whose passion for speed led him to many Indianapolis 500 starts, earning respect for both his courage behind the wheel and his gracious support for fellow competitors.
After retiring from racing he remained devoted to the auto-racing community, encouraging young drivers and sharing stories of the sport’s formative years; he is remembered at Clovis Cemetery.
