Biography

Johnny Niggeling, born in 1903, brought his knuckleball and quiet determination to major league baseball, pitching for several teams including the Washington Senators and helping his clubs through challenging seasons.

After his playing days he shared his love of the game with younger athletes, and following his passing in 1963 he was interred at Saint Marys Cemetery.
