Jolán Boros

Biography

Jolán Boros was a Hungarian traditional folk singer who preserved and celebrated the rich musical heritage of Hungarian folk culture. Her voice and artistry kept alive the songs and traditions that defined Hungarian cultural identity.

Boros dedicated her life to performing and promoting traditional folk music, earning respect as a guardian of Hungarian cultural traditions. She remained active in folk music circles throughout her life and was laid to rest at Farkasréti Cemetery in 1997.
