Biography
Jonas Anton Hielm served Norway as a lawyer and parliamentarian, distinguishing himself as a spirited defender of liberty of expression during the early years of constitutional rule.
He also taught younger jurists while keeping faith with his community, and he was laid to rest at Vår Frelsers gravlund where his commitment to the law is still remembered.
