Jonas Farnsworth

Biography

Jonas Farnsworth, born in 1748, came of age as new political ideals took root in the colonies, and while little of his personal story survives, he surely shared in the hopes and hardships of his neighbors during those unsettled years.

His memory rests at the Old Burying Ground, where the quiet rows of gravestones link his lifetime to the community that claims him still.
