Jonathan Allen

Biography

Jonathan Allen was a resident of Pittsfield who lived during the early nineteenth century. Born in 1773, he was part of the generation that came of age after American independence and contributed to the development of his community.

Allen lived a full life spanning seven decades, passing away in 1845. He was laid to rest in Pittsfield Cemetery, where he remains part of the local history and heritage.
