Biography

Jonathan Richmond (1774–1853) lived through the founding era of the United States and witnessed nearly eight decades of American history. His life spanned from the Revolutionary period through the early nineteenth century, a transformative time for the nation.

His memory is preserved at Oak Glen Cemetery, where he rests in his community. He is remembered as a member of the generations that established and developed the American republic.
