Biography

Jöran Rehn (1727–1810) was a Swedish estate owner whose long life spanned most of the 18th century and extended into the early years of the 19th century. His management of his estates reflected the agricultural and economic traditions of the Swedish gentry during this transformative period.

Rehn's tenure as an estate owner placed him among the landholding class that formed the backbone of Swedish rural society and economy. His stewardship of his properties contributed to the continuity and stability of Swedish agricultural life. He was interred in Täby cemetery, a place of rest befitting his standing in the community.
