Jordena Cannon Harris

Biography

Jordena Cannon Harris was a woman of the early nineteenth century whose life spanned the formative years of American society. Born in 1827, she lived during a period of significant social and cultural development in the United States.

Her memory is preserved at Spring Grove Cemetery, one of the nation's most distinguished burial grounds. Though her years were brief, ending in 1853, her legacy remains part of the historical record of her era.
