Biography

Josef Černý was a young Czech man whose brief life was lived during the early years of the Czechoslovak Republic. Though his time on earth was short, spanning only from 1906 to 1926, he lived through a period of national awakening and cultural renewal.

Černý's memory is preserved in the Cemetery in Chodov, where he was laid to rest. His life, though brief, was part of the broader tapestry of Czech society during a transformative era in Central European history.
