Biography

Josef Dvořák was born in 1899 in Brno, beginning his life during a period of significant cultural development in Moravia. He lived through the major historical transitions of the twentieth century, from the Austro-Hungarian Empire through the modern era.

Dvořák's long life spanned nearly seven decades, allowing him to witness profound changes in his homeland. He passed away in 1965 and was laid to rest at Brno Central Cemetery, where his memory endures.
