Biography
Josef Hajský (1924–2016) was a Czech man whose life spanned most of the twentieth century. Born in the interwar period, he experienced the full arc of modern Czech history, from the First Republic through the communist era and into the democratic Czech Republic.
His memory is preserved at Vinohrady Cemetery in Prague, a significant cultural institution that serves as the final resting place for many notable figures in Czech society.
