Biography

Josef Jaša was born in 1864 and became part of the vibrant community of Brno during a period of significant industrial and cultural development. His life witnessed the transition from imperial rule to the modern Czechoslovak era, experiencing firsthand the evolving identity of Moravia.

Throughout his nearly eighty years, Jaša was embedded in the social fabric of Brno, contributing to the community during times of both prosperity and challenge. His memory is preserved at Brno Central Cemetery, where he was laid to rest in 1943.
