Biography
Josef Reim was born in 1906 and came of age during the interwar period of Czechoslovakia, experiencing both the optimism of independence and the subsequent challenges of the mid-twentieth century. His life reflected the experiences of his generation in Central Europe.
Reim passed away in 1958 and was laid to rest in Břevnov Cemetery in Prague, a final resting place that connects him to the spiritual and cultural heritage of the city's historic Benedictine monastery district.
