Biography
Josef Svoboda was a member of the Protestant faith community in early 20th-century Bohemia. Born in 1902, he lived through the formative years of the Czechoslovak state and the subsequent challenges of the World War II era.
Svoboda's life was rooted in the Protestant tradition, as indicated by his burial in the Protestant cemetery in Libice nad Cidlinou. His life concluded in 1941, during the German occupation of Czechoslovakia, representing one of many lives affected by the conflicts of his time.
