Biography

Josef Weinlechner, born in 1829, was a respected physician whose practice in Vienna reflected a steadfast commitment to the health of his fellow citizens. He spent decades attending to patients from all walks of life, earning a reputation for calm expertise and a gentle bedside manner.

Dr. Weinlechner took seriously the responsibilities of medicine in an urban setting, and after his passing in 1906, he was interred in the Vienna Central Cemetery among the medical practitioners who served the city before him.
