Biography
Josef Zeman was a dedicated baker who contributed to the daily life of his community through his craft. Born in 1877, he practiced his trade during the Austro-Hungarian period and into the early years of Czech independence.
Zeman's work as a baker represented the skilled trades that formed the backbone of Prague's society. He was remembered as part of the city's working heritage and was buried at Olšany Cemetery in 1918.
