Josefa Budínská

Biography

Josefa Budínská (1874–1955) was a Brno resident whose exceptionally long life spanned from the late Austro-Hungarian period through the mid-twentieth century. Her eighty-one years encompassed some of the most transformative decades in Central European history.

Budínská's longevity allowed her to witness the establishment of Czechoslovakia, the interwar period, and the post-war era. She is remembered in Brno Central Cemetery as a link to earlier generations and the community's enduring heritage.
