Joseph A. Wright

Biography

Joseph A. Wright was a man of the early nineteenth century whose life encompassed the pre-Civil War era and the tumultuous 1860s. He lived through a period of significant national development and conflict.

Wright's fifty-seven years of life allowed him to witness considerable change in American society and institutions. He was ultimately interred at Green-Wood Cemetery, where his memory is honored.
