Biography

Joseph Badger Jr. was born in 1722 and lived through one of the most pivotal centuries in American history. His lifetime encompassed the French and Indian War, the American Revolution, and the establishment of the new republic.

Badger spent his life in Gilmanton, New Hampshire, where he was part of the community during its formative years. He died in 1803, having witnessed the transformation of thirteen colonies into a sovereign nation.
