Biography
Joseph D. Scholtz felt a deep responsibility toward Louisville and gave much of his life to guiding the city through the challenges of the New Deal era. His steady leadership and belief in civic improvement helped foster a stronger, more compassionate community.
He was remembered by friends and neighbors for his considerate spirit and dedication to preserving the quality of life in the area he loved so dearly.
