Biography

Joseph Hodgson was a physician who practiced medicine during the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Born in 1788, Hodgson was part of a generation of medical professionals who witnessed and contributed to the advancement of medical science and practice during a period of considerable professional development and reform.
