Joseph Millard (1836–1922) walked through a century filled with change, and he met every turn with a quiet strength that endeared him to family and neighbors alike. He was laid to rest at Prospect Hill Cemetery, where his memory continues to be honored.

Today, he is recalled for the loyal affection he shared and the calm reassurance he provided to those who relied on him.
