Joseph W. Babcock

Biography

Joseph W. Babcock came to prominence in Wisconsin through the lumber and railroad industries, a knowledge he brought with him when he was elected to the United States House of Representatives.

He used his position to champion improvements for the District of Columbia and to support the communities that had given him their trust, and he was laid to rest at Rock Creek Cemetery.
