Biography
Joseph Waroux, born in 1833, devoted his life to the painstaking craft of engraving, translating historical scenes and civic heraldry into enduring works that adorned public buildings and private collections throughout Wallonia.
He remained a steadfast presence in Liège’s artistic community until his passing in 1898, and his memory endures among the shaded avenues of Robermont Cemetery where he was laid to rest.
