Biography
Joshua Eilberg, born in 1921, was a Philadelphia lawyer whose commitment to civil rights and social welfare led him to the U.S. House of Representatives, where he served Pennsylvania's citizens from 1967 to 1977.
In Congress he advocated for environmental protection and improved access to health care, and after leaving office he returned to private practice while remaining active in civic affairs, a dedication honored at Montefiore Cemetery.
