Biography

Józef Mamica (1878–1940) was a Polish parson who devoted his life to spiritual ministry and pastoral care. He served his congregation through decades of significant historical change, from the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire through Poland's independence and into the early years of World War II.

Mamica's memory is preserved in the Lutheran Cemetery in Cieszyn, a testament to his faith and service to the Lutheran community in Silesia. His life reflects the important role of clergy in maintaining spiritual life and community bonds during Poland's complex history.
