Biography

Józef Oleszkiewicz was a distinguished painter of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, known for his contributions to the artistic community of his era. Oleszkiewicz spent his final years in Russia, where he continued to practice his craft until his death in 1830. He was laid to rest at Smolenskoye Orthodox Cemetery, a final resting place that reflects the cosmopolitan nature of Russian cultural life during this period.
