Biography

Jozef Szymanowski (1748–1801) was a Polish poet whose literary contributions enriched the cultural landscape of the late 18th century. Active during a period of significant intellectual ferment in Polish society, he participated in the literary movements that characterized the Enlightenment in Poland.
