Józef Wiśniewski was a Polish military personnel who served his nation during a formative period in Polish history. Born in 1891, he dedicated his life to military service during the interwar years of the newly independent Polish state.

Wiśniewski's legacy is preserved at Kule Cemetery in Częstochowa, where he was laid to rest following his death in 1937. His service represents the commitment of Polish military officers during the period between the two world wars.
